Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to payments made directly to RoomRateCompare for agent registrations and subscriptions.

1. Agent Registration Fee

The one-time registration fee of $25 USD is generally non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:

  • Your application is rejected by our team
  • Technical error caused duplicate charges
  • You request cancellation within 14 days of registration and have not received any leads

2. Monthly Subscription Fees

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. Refund policy:

  • Within 3 days of charge: Full refund available
  • Within 14 days of charge: Pro-rated refund for unused days
  • After 14 days: No refund for that month
  • Upon cancellation: Access continues until end of paid period

3. Cancellation Process

To cancel your subscription:

  • Log into your agent dashboard
  • Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Cancel Subscription
  • Confirm cancellation
  • You will receive email confirmation

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

  • Email refunds@roomratecompare.com with your account email
  • Include reason for refund request
  • Allow 5-7 business days for processing
  • Refunds are issued to original payment method

5. Third-Party Bookings

Important: RoomRateCompare does not process hotel or travel bookings directly. When you click affiliate links to booking partners (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, etc.), their refund and cancellation policies apply. We cannot process refunds for third-party bookings.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without first requesting a refund, your account may be suspended pending investigation. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Registration fees after 14 days of approval
  • Subscription fees for fully used billing periods
  • Custom services or consultations (if applicable)

8. Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of the charge date. Unreported disputes after 30 days may not be eligible for resolution.
